MotionSavvy Translates ASL

MotionSavvy is building a tablet that uses 3D motion recognition that detects when a person is using American Sign Language and converts it to text or voice. The software also has voice recognition which converts a hearing person’s voice into text for the hearing-impaired to read. The entire 6 person team is deaf. http://techcrunch.com/2014/06/06/motionsavvy-is-a-tablet-app-that-understands-sign-language/ #tech
