Making soft robots practical

Okayama University researchers have developed a tiny pneumatic actuator that should make soft robots that bend and stretch a reality. The machinery changes pressure by turning water into hydrogen and oxygen and back again. It doesn't require moving parts or vents, and it's effectively silent. http://www.engadget.com/2015/10/19/pneumatic-actuator-for-soft-robots/ #tech
