Medecins sans Frontieres, also known as Doctors Without Borders, work in some of this world's largest epidemics and war torn areas. Jason Cone became Executive Director in June, a few months before U.S. forces carried out a deadly bombing on their hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan. It was the largest loss of life in a single incident. An event that has rattled the 44-year-old organization and raised question whether for all its regret, the American bombing was a war crime.
