Google to build $773.6M data center

Google today announced a four-year plan to build an approximately $773.6 million data center located in the Netherlands. Pitched as a way to bring jobs to the town of Eemshaven, Google says it expects to “start initial operations [on the data center] in the first half of 2016 and to be fully operational by the end of 2017.”
