First U.S. Ebola Victim Dead

The Liberian national who became the first diagnosed U.S. case of Ebola died Wednesday morning, the Dallas hospital treating him announced. Duncan, who was exposed to the disease before leaving his country on Sept. 19, had been hospitalized for 10 days. Over the weekend, he was put on a ventilator and kidney dialysis and began receiving the experimental antiviral drug brincidofovir.
