Psychopaths View Punishment Differently

A recent study shows that psychopaths process punishment differently than most. When people expect to be punished for their wrongdoings, the behaviors are interpreted as negative, and are often avoided. Psychopaths pay little heed to punishment and move forward with unsavory behavior. They’re also excessively optimistic about being rewarded for their actions.
