Hollyhock House

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House is minimalist and modern. The stucco exterior combines American Southwest with Mayan design components. A hollyhock motif recurs throughout the home. Rather than move in, the women who had it built donated it to Los Angeles in 1927. The house has been nominated as a potential World Heritage Site.
