Elizabeth Blackburn On The Long Haul

Elizabeth Blackburn is a biologist who won the 2009 Nobel Prize. As a child in Australia, always interested in biology, she used to pick up and examine dangerous creatures. Blackburn earned a Ph.D. and moved to the United States, where she performed ground-breaking work by identifying telomeres, which protect the ends of DNA.
