Merit Based Compensation

Two politicians introduced The Rewarding Achievement and Incentivizing Successful Employees Act on Thursday. This would allow companies to offer bonuses, or “merit-based compensation,” without union approval. Unions frequently reject these bonuses, and companies lose valuable employees because of it. Skilled workers often leave unionized companies for non-unionized ones.
