2014 Amish Measles Outbreak

Last year, a devastating outbreak affected an Amish community in Ohio. Two missionaries contracted a virus in the Philippines and carried it home. It was mistaken for non-contagious dengue fever, but when numerous Mennonites began to fall ill, the diagnosis changed. 377 people contracted measles in Knox County.
