Alabama Capitol Can't Kick It's Nickname

The Alabama Capitol grounds are nicknamed Goat Hill. Thousands gather there March 7th through 9th to celebrate the actions and bravery of Civil Rights activists. March 7th is Bloody Sunday, when marching protesters were beaten on the Edmund Pettus Bridge. They were headed for the state Capitol, which hasn’t been able to kick its nickname.
