Birth Tourism Business Raided

Federal agents in California raided “birth tourism” homes on Tuesday. They targeted an upscale Irvine apartment complex. Wealthy Chinese women inside were each charged $50,000 for food, shelter, and transportation—so they could travel to the U.S. to give birth, providing their children automatic citizenship. The business has coordinated delivery of more than 400 babies.
